KAWAI AUSTRALIA WEBSITE

Founded in 1927 by Koichi Kawai and based in Hamamatsu, Kawai are a Japanese piano builder, totally focussed on piano and digital piano design, improvement and production over its over 85 years of history.
Kawai has been at the forefront of technology for many years, now delivering the fastest actions and most responsible mechanisms of any Japanese maker, and the No.1 ranked Japanese piano by international standards in the Shigeru Kawai grand pianos.

QUALITY STANDARDS

Most Kawai piano models are still fully made in Japan, and each model sets a benchmark for quality control and value for money. Highly skilled technicians and artisans work with carefully selected raw materials to create musical instruments with heart and soul.

LEADING INNOVATION

The Millenium III action uses ABS infused with carbon fibres, to produce an incredibly strong, lightweight and responsive feel - around 16% faster than a standard timber action, and producing more power with less effort.
Combined with solid spruce soundboards, mahogany hammers, neotex (synthetic ivory) keytops and soft-close fallboards, you can enjoy the benefits that come from the 'focussed' Japanese piano builder (not an 'everything' maker).

THE MORRIS BROTHERS DIFFERENCE

Morris Brothers, a music store created, owned and operated by piano teachers and tuners since 2001, are proud to ensure your Kawai piano plays to its very best capability.
Every new Kawai upright and grand piano is prepared by our expert tuner/technician trained by Steinway & Sons in Hamburg, Germany, and both Steinway-accredited and Kawai-approved. This will give your piano a true performance edge over the standard pre-service of most other stores. Our extras include a set of castor cups to protect your floor, and high-grade polish cloths.
Don't just own the best Japanese piano brand - own a piano prepared by a true world-class standard!
